Can you tell us who you are? And can you explain why you needed a content writer?
I’m a visual artist, and having an online presence has become ever more important to my career. Being online presents an opportunity to showcase my work to the world, and this is not to be underestimated. As quality images are of utmost importance to an artist’s website, so too is quality written content, as it helps to engage visitors in an artist’s story – thus my need for a writer with an understanding of the visual arts.
Why did you choose to engage Jack and Quill?
I was very impressed with an exhibition essay written by Jack and Quill founder Dr Ewen Jarvis. It was a beautifully written, intuitive essay that I was moved by. After reading this piece of work, I felt no desire to look any further for a writer.
Can you describe your experience working with Jack & Quill towards the creation of written content?
It was an excellent experience. I felt both excited and relieved to hand over messy notes and in return receive back content so eloquently written. All promises were met, including timelines.
How did Jack & Quill perform, and were you happy with the end result?
I felt completely at ease to discuss my personal expectations with Ewen, and I was delighted when those expectations were exceeded. Can you tell us who you are? And can you explain why you needed a content writer?
I am the Managing Director of a property development and investment firm in Melbourne, and I needed to engage a professional writer to produce quality written content for my firm’s new website.

Can you tell us who you are? And can you explain why you needed a content writer?
I am an Australian sculptor. My arts practice is based in Melbourne however commissions regularly see me travelling abroad. My abilities as a sculptor, industrial designer and public art production manager exceed my abilities as a writer. Therefore I am regularly in need of written content that clearly conveys artistic ideas to my clients.

I first worked with Jack & Quill founder Dr Ewen Jarvis in 2016 in his capacity as an art curator. I was impressed with his understanding of the visual arts (sculpture in particular), which coincided with a working knowledge of literature and philosophy.
